Govt. of India
decided to upgrade 100 ITI's in the country in to “ Centre of
Excellence “ in the first phase in the FY 2005-2006 through
domestic resources and 400 ITI's through World Bank Assistance. |

| |
Industrial Training Institute, Indranagar, Agartala, Tripura has
been selected for up-gradation into Center of Excellence in the
sector “Automobile”.. |

These centers will be providing “ Multiskill Training “ to meet
the skill requirement of particular sector of industry with the
active involvement of the industry in all aspects of training |
